majority of the population has completed an
assessment. - Make sure to return exams held for make-up and
that all sections have been completed. - For students using large-print or Braille
transcription accommodation, make sure that all
items in all sections have been completed. - Check that all booklets that require scoring have
a precoded label or district school label affixed
to the booklet.
NOTE Make-ups can occur anytime during
PDE-established testing window.

is used for all administrations - Prior to each assessment, DRC will grant
assessment permissions to the District Assessment
Coordinator - The District Assessment Coordinator is

- Boxes should be inventoried immediately
- Secure material receipt must be indicated on the
Materials Receipt Notice form via eDIRECT - Update user accounts as needed to access the

10- Additional Materials
- The Additional Material System is available via
eDIRECT two weeks prior to the testing window - Additional materials should be requested AFTER
material has been received and counts have been
verified and at least four days prior to testing - Includes Spanish and Large Print
- Update user accounts as needed to access the

11- Barcode Labels
- USED answer booklets must have a Precode Label or
District/School label affixed to the front cover.
This includes answer booklets that are - Complete in all sections
- Partially complete due to absent without make-up
- Incomplete for an enrolled student who was not
assessed (Medical Emergency, Parental Exclusion,
ELL First-Year, Other) - BLANK answer booklets do not need any label on
the front cover - DAMAGED answer booklets must have a Do Not Score
label affixed over a precode or District/School
label
12- Precode Labels
- Labels are delivered and slip-sheeted by subject,
grade, test session (when applicable) - DO NOT make copies
- Discard the label if a student is no longer
enrolled with your district and school - Verify that the First Name, Last Name,
PAsecureID, and Date of Birth are accurate
13Information associated with the Student Precode
Label will not be over-ridden with any bubbling
done on pages 1 and 2 of the answer booklet.
If a change is needed, update the data in PIMS,
use a District/School Label, and bubble the
correct information in the booklet.
14- District/School Labels
- Verify the District and School listed is accurate
- Labels are to be used on any USED answer booklet
without a student precode label - DO NOT make copies
- DO NOT use labels from another school or year
- Additional labels can be ordered via the
Additional Materials System

16- Do Not Score Labels
- Labels are for used answer booklets that cannot
be score because the booklet has become damaged - Remember to transcribe student responses from a
damaged booklet - Labels must be affixed over any label already on
the booklet.

18Booklets where the Do Not Score label is
improperly placed will be processed for a student
and a score or non-attempt status will be
reported!!

- Paper copies are shipped with all secure
materials - Security checklists are available electronically
and can be requested by sending an email to
pacustomerservice_at_datarecognitioncorporation.com - DRC cannot send the electronic version until all
secure materials have been shipped.

- Indicate the number of secure materials returned
to DRC - Record discrepancies of additional and missing
materials - Update user accounts as needed to access the
Materials Receipt Notice - The MAF can be accessed and updated until one

24- Returning Secure Materials
- Answer booklets should be returned when the
majority of the population has completed an
assessment. - Hold incomplete booklets for make-ups
- Transcribe large print, Braille, and other
special accommodation responses into a form
appropriate scannable answer booklet - Confirm every used answer booklet has a barcode
label affixed to the front cover - Complete the Materials Accountability Form
- Separate answer booklets from test booklets
(except shrink-wrapped packs)
25- Returning Secure Materials
- Test and answer booklets should be packaged
separately - Subjects and grades can be returned in the same
box - To fill boxes to the top, the last boxes can
contain answer and test booklets - Answer booklets must be returned in a plastic
return shipment bag within the box - Boxes should be filled completely with booklets
or filler - Packing tape must be used to seal each box
securely

- UPS and DRC Return Shipment Labels must be
affixed to all boxes - It is recommended that you record tracking
numbers and materials in each box - If you do not have a regularly scheduled UPS
