Yoga is one of the most ancient forms of work
out, which is said to have been established close
to five thousand years ago. It is said to provide
numerous benefits to the individuals including,
longevity and lesser health issues. The work out
evolved from the various observations from nature
itself, like the various animal positions and
shapes of the flowers and plants. Yoga
essentially is a mix of three wings, asanas,
dhyana and pranayama.

Hatha yoga is one of the variants of yoga which
has evolved recently. The word hatha means
willful or forceful. This form of yoga involves a
set of exercises that help align the body, skin
and the bones in the individuals. It helps in
calming the body, mind and the soul of the
individuals. This form of yoga is considered best
for relieving any bodily tensions, muscle related
aches and issues. It nourishes the entire body
and oxygenates the blood stream and every cell in
the body.

It develops the flexibility of the individuals
and also increases the core strength in the
individuals. It is also great in improving
posture, bringing a lot of calm and peace,
reverses clogged arteries and any coronary
diseases. In addition to all of the above, it is
of very little expense to the person practicing,
unlike hitting the gyms where the membership and
other amounts are extremely expensive. Once a
person gets a hang of practicing yoga, it can be
performed at any place of his or her comfort.

Another great work out is Pilates. It is a system
of exercise which was developed by a person
called Joseph Pilates way back in the early
1900s. This form of exercise became very popular
with the passage of time, and now is one of the
work outs that is being practices by many people
around the world. Pilates exercise improves
flexibility, blood circulation, posture, core
strength and abdominal strength in the
individuals. It is also a great work out to treat
and prevent back pain and other aches in the
body. It is a great exercise to calm the minds
and body of people.

People intend to hit their fitness goals in
various ways. Depending on their interests,
people choose the type of work out, that would
suit them the best, and keep them very interested
throughout. Different work outs including the
aforementioned, swimming, kick boxing, boxing,
cycling, etc help individuals stay healthy.
Wherever the individuals decide to work out, be
it at a gym or at their own homes, it is
important for the individuals to have their own
workout plans so that they can stay in line with
their fitness goals.
