Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Adam Higdon
Palatine developed a love for sports from a young
age and seemingly passed this love on to his
children. His children are involved in soccer,
football and gymnastics and he is fond of
watching them play and enjoy their sport.
Palatine follows different sports and these are
his teams Cubs, Bears Blackhawks, The Bulls and
Notre Dame Football.
Being raised in Chicago, it is natural that the
Bulls, Cubs and the Bears would be at the top of
his list. He has cheered for them since youth and
enjoys cheering for them still. Now, the
Blackhawks are a hockey team that sits at the top
of the Central division of the NHLs western
conference, this alone recommends them as a force
to be reckoned with in that sport.

Adam Higdon Palatine Life after the Army
Adam Higdon Palatine, Director of Media
Optimisation at Adobe Technology, served time in
the United States Army. He joined right out of
high school in 1991 and joined the infantry prior
to becoming a member of the 2/75th Range
Battalion. The 75th Ranger regiment is known to
conduct special operation missions and for its
distinctive head gear, a tan beret, which
identifies the wearer as a proven warrior. In
general when you are accustomed to a certain way
of life, breaking from routine to adopt a new one
can be extremely difficult. It would be the same
for individuals leaving the army, and because the
transition is so hard, the army often helps
individuals to have a smooth transition. Once you
enter the army you know that you will leave it
eventually, so it always pays to be
prepared. The army will help you with your
transition. They understand that you are not the
only individual involved, but your family is
involved as well.
