SBI 28 recommendation

• Turning to the essence of the SBI 28
  recommendation, it calls for attention to be
  paid, in particular, to issues listed in 4/CMP.3
  - and they are
• Share of proceeds for which we have received
  submissions and a technical paper is prepared
• Annex B CMP to determine the necessity and take
  appropriate action
• Privileges Immunities passed to SBI 29
• Flexibility mechanisms for which we have
  received submissions and 2 information notes have
  been prepared
• Minimization of adverse effects under SB CMP
  to take action in view of that

• The other set of issues specified for attention
  in the recommendation concerns the technical
  inputs which are
• Information on the work of the AWG-KP
• Compilation and analysis of available
  information on ways and means to enhance
  equitable regional distribution of CDM projects
• Compilation and analysis of available
  information on the scope, effectiveness and
  functioning of the flexibility mechanisms under
  the Kyoto Protocol and
• Extending the share of proceeds to assist in
  meeting the costs of adaptation and options
  related to AAUs of Parties included in Annex I
  for funding of adaptation in developing countries.

• - Address issues on which appropriate decisions
  could be adopted by the CMP in Poznan for
  implementation starting as soon as possible -
  that is one, and the second
• Identify issues that require further
  consideration and refer them to the appropriate
  body.
