Need to advocate for higher grant amounts,
especially for first two years of college. - BFAP funding follows BOG/Pell recipients. As
Southern CA grows and Northern CA shrinks, we may
have a problem maintaining funding.
- Complication of federal application process
continues to drive away low-income families from
applying. Still difficult for some to get
cooperation from parents after age of 18.
