Introduction of Air Blower

• Air Blowers is a machine used for generating a
  flow of air at substantial pressure for
  mechanical or electromechanical devices that
  control gas flow via ducting, electronics
  chassis, process stacks, etc. The capacity of an
  air blower depends on the intended application,
  blower type, port design, along with the
  parameters of flow capacity, electrical ratings,
  and dimensions.

Types of Blowers
There are two types of air blowers  

1. Centrifugal Blowers - Centrifugal blowers are
   used for high-speed impellers or blades to impart
   velocity to air or other gases. They come in
   single or multi-stage units. Centrifugal blowers
   carry a number of the blade according to their
   use.
2. Positive Displacement Blowers Positive
   Displacement Blowers AKA PD Blowers use
   mechanical sources to squeeze fluid and thereby
   increase pressure and/or velocity.

Use of Air Blowers 
Blowers are needed for ventilation and industrial
process requirements, wherever flow is needed for
exhausting, aspirating, cooling, ventilating,
conveying, etc also blowers keep the electronic
enclosures cool, induce drafts in boilers,
increase airflow on engines, and blowers can be
configured in a variety.
