Vacuum Boosters also known as Mechanical
Boosters are dry pumps that meet most of the
ideal Vacuum Pumping requirements. These are
Positive Displacement type are designed to
handle large quantity of gases under low working
pressures and are manufactured keeping close
tolerances and ensuring complete air tightness.
Mechanical Vacuum pump Work
In a certain system, the pump that creates
a vacuum is considered a vacuum pump. This is
often done by a mechanically moving part of
the pump that often rotates, accelerating the
molecules of the gas and making the region of low
pressure. When the level of vacuum is reached the
tank is isolated by a high vacuum valve.
