• Held DICOM workshops on 05/20/2006 and 07/10/2006
• MISAT 30 individual members and 10 group
  members. Continue to promote more members to
  joint MISAT
• Update the activity information for DICOM/Taiwan
  website (www.dicom.org.tw).

  Hospital, Chi-Zi Hospital, and Sin-Lau Hospital
• WADO application in Medical Informatics Systems

DICOM Promotion

• Assist BSMI (Bureau of Standards, Metrology and
  Inspection ) to adapt DICOM standards into CNS
  (Taiwan National Standard)
• Part 5, 7, 14, 15, and 18 have been published
• Part 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 16, and 17 will be
  completed by the end of 2006.

DICOM Promotion

• Help National Health Insurance Bureau (NHI) to
  implement the Internet Pre-Operation Insurance
  Claim System with DICOM/HL-7 standard
• By the end of 2006, down to the district regional
  hospitals have to be ready for the on-line
  operations

Proposed Work Items

• IHE Connecthon and Demonstration will be held on
  November 2006 and March 2007
• Two more workshops were scheduled on 9/8 and 10/28
