Activity at DWBT (MISAT)

• Medical Image Standards Association of Taiwan
  (MISAT) was established on 03/15/2003.
• Joint 2002 annul conference and exhibition of
  BMES/ROC.
• Promote more member to joint MISAT.
• Attend the meeting of DICOM standard
  committee-Paris and Chicago.

Activity at DWBT (MISAT)

• Setup a webpage to report the activity of DICOM.
  
• Joint CSRI for planning IHE-Taiwan to promote to
  popularize standards.
• Help BSMI to Implement DICOM standards into CNS.
• Held workshop related to DICOM on 07/19/2002 and
  04/02/2003.

Proposed Work Items

• Joint HL-7 Taiwan, Radiological Society and
  Dental Society Taiwan to run some project and
  training course , such as the introduction of
  DICOM, and how to implement the DICOM standard to
  National standard.
• Push the proposal regarding put Chinese
  characters into DICOM standardUTF-8 (ISO10646 or
  CNS14649) in progress.
• Hold more conference and workshop activity of
  DICOM.
• Host the Spring meeting of DICOM standard
  committee in 2003.
