The Comfort Of the Tears of Jesus.
John 1135
3
JESUS SEES OUR PAIN!
Jesus tears teach us that there is nothing that
He cannot see
John 22525and had no need that anyone should
testify of man, for He knew what was in man.
Nahum 17 The Lord is good, A stronghold in the
day of trouble And He knows those who trust in
Him.
4
He knows those who trust in Him
When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the
Jews who came with her, also weeping, He was
deeply moved in spirit, and was troubled
Why He was troubled?
1. He cannot see His people suffering, dont you
see that? 2. He cannot see His disciples crying,
3. And He cannot see His Christians suffering.
5
John 1133 33Therefore, when Jesus saw her
weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping,
He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.
A long low cry expressing pain or misery
To voice a deep, inarticulate sound, as of pain,
grief, or displeasure. To make a sound
expressive of stress or strain
He knows all our troubles...

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach
with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed
across the sky. In each scene I noticed
footprints in the sand.Sometimes there were two
sets of footprints, other times there was one
only. This bothered me because I noticed that
during the low periods of my life, when I was
suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could
see only one set of footprints, so I said to the
Lord, "You promised me Lord, that if I followed
you,you would walk with me always. But I have
noticed that during the most trying periods of my
life there has only been one set of footprints in
the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you
not been there for me?" The Lord replied, "The
years when you have seen only one set of
footprints, my child, is when I carried you."
7
Jesus is very experienced. He knows the span of
life, On one occasion Peter says
1 Peter 221-24 21For to this you were called,
because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us
an example, that you should follow His steps
22Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in
His mouth 23who, when He was reviled, did not
revile in return when He suffered, He did not
threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges
righteously 24who Himself bore our sins in His
own body on the tree, that we, having died to
sins, might live for righteousnessby whose
stripes you were healed.
8
Hebrews 122 2 looking unto Jesus, the author
and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that
was set before Him endured the cross, despising
the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of
the throne of God.
9
Matthew 1428 And Peter answered Him and said,
Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on
the water.
But you know what the condition is?
Dont take your eyes away from Jesus Peter can do
it He started walking in the water He walked
until hes eyes were upon Jesus, once he remove
them A Big problem came
10
Matthew 1430 30But when he saw that the wind
was boisterous, he was afraid and beginning to
sink he cried out, saying, Lord, save me!
Peter is not looking at Jesus hes now looking
at the big waves and the strong wind Not at
Jesus anymore Thats why we suffer Look unto
Jesus.
11
JESUS SYMPATHIZES WITH HIS DISCIPLES
Jesus was not weeping for Lazarus, for He knew
that in minutes He would raise him from his tomb
of four days.
12
Hebrews 414, 15 14 Seeing then that we have a
great High Priest who has passed through the
heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast
our confession. 15 For we do not have a High
Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses,
but was in all points tempted as we are, yet
without sin.
Don't you love that?
13
What a comfort to know that Jesus weeps with His
disciples! Paul experienced that when the Lord
says to him
Acts 189,10 9Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the
night by a vision, Do not be afraid, but speak,
and do not keep silent 10for I am with you, and
no one will attack you to hurt you for I have
many people in this city.
14
You are not weeping alone my brother Jesus is
beside you Remember the footprint poem please
Psalm 914, 5 He shall cover you with His
feathers, And under His wings you shall take
refuge His truth shall be your shield and
buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by
night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Revelation 214 4And God will wipe away every
tear from their eyes there shall be no more
death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no
more pain, for the former things have passed
away.
15
Exodus 3314 14And He said, My Presence will go
with you, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 1128 28Come to Me, all you who labor
and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
16
THE FATHER SORROWS OVER OUR GRIEF
Jesus came to show us the Father and tell us what
God is like.
John 118 No man has seen God at any time
the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the
Father, He has explained Him.
17
Is heaven touched with earths heartaches?
Matthew 936 36But when He saw the multitudes,
He was moved with compassion for them, because
they were weary and scattered, like sheep having
no shepherd.
Matthew 1413 14And when Jesus went out He saw a
great multitude and He was moved with compassion
for them, and healed their sick.
Matthew 1532 Now Jesus called His disciples to
Himself and said, I have compassion on the
multitude, because they have now continued with
Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do
not want to send them away hungry, lest they
faint on the way.
18
Is heaven touched with earths heartaches?
Luke 713,14 13When the Lord saw her, He had
compassion on her and said to her, Do not weep.
14Then He came and touched the open coffin, and
those who carried him stood still. And He said,
Young man, I say to you, arise.
He knows all our troubles and He is qualified to
comfort us. Jesus knows your tears.
19
The Bible declares that there is not a hair that
can fall from our head that the Father in heaven
doesnt know about.
Mathew 1030, 31 30But the very hairs of your
head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore
you are of more value than many sparrows.
20
Jesus wept. That what John 1135 says. This is a
blessing because trough Jesus tears we can see
that
He was 100 Human. He had compassion. He comfort
those who trust in Him He can comfort you at any
time.
Luke 1941, 42 41Now as He drew near, He saw the
city and wept over it, 42saying, If you had
known, even you, especially in this your day, the
things that make for your peace! But now they are
hidden from your eyes.
Hebrews 57 7who, in the days of His flesh, when
He had offered up prayers and supplications, with
vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to
save Him from death, and was heard because of His
godly fear,
21
