The Real Cause of Acne Bacteria, Diet, or
Something Else?
2
Addressing Acne
If you want to start clearing up your acne, you
must first tell yourself that acne is curable,
temporary, and something you can overcome.
Embarrassing acne doesnt have to last forever,
but you need to take the necessary steps to
eliminate and manage it.
You are capable of having healthy skin, but it
will take some research and effort to maintain a
healthy skin care system.
3
What Causes Acne Symptoms?
Acne is the most common skin condition and it
affects more than just teens going through
puberty.
Many people think that acne is caused by dirt,
greasy fast food, or genes, but those are not the
root causes of acne.
Acne is embarrassing for many people, but it can
be treated and even cured with the right acne
treatments.
4
Do Your Research
Before you start treating your acne, you must
first find out what is causing your outbreaks.
Use reliable and credible information and
exercise caution when using the internet to look
up ways to solve you acne problems.
Its easy to become overwhelmed with information
during your research, but just remember, most
acne solutions are made from the same basic
formula and the only differences are packaging
and small amounts of additionally added products
like moisturizers.
5
The Underlying Cause of Acne
Though acne is exacerbated by dirt, greasy foods,
and bacteria, they are not the primary causes.
Acne is actual caused by hormone production and
thats where you must attack to get rid of it.
Hormonal acne is caused when oil glands attached
to hair follicles are stimulated by circulating
hormones. This creates a hormone by-product
called Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which in turn
is what causes breakouts and pimples.
6
DHT and Acne
What many acne control products dont do is treat
the underlying cause, which is what you want to
do.
There are not many products that stop DHT acne,
but there are a few.
Other treatments may provide short-term success
by temporarily getting rid of the symptoms of
DHT, but they wont make it go away entirely.

7
How Do Anti-DHT Acne Treatments Work?
Anti-DHT acne treatments go after the source of
acne with a vengeance by eliminating the cause of
excessive oil production by the oil glands at the
hormonal level.
First of all, the treatments inhibit the
conversion of Testosterone to DHT and get rid of
excess oil production. After this, the treatment
blocks the Androgen Receptors and stops the
stimulation of the oil glands.
The third step involves disinfecting and
cleaning. The treatment will open your pores and
get rid of any bacteria while reducing
inflammation.
8
Following Through
When you use an anti-DHT treatment, it will allow
your skin to heal, leaving the newly regenerated
skin smooth and less prone to breakouts.
For the treatment to be truly effective however,
you must keep up the routine until all of your
acne fades away.
Afterwards, make sure to set in place a health
skin care regime to ensure that other acne
symptoms dont reappear.
9
Will Acne Come Back?
If you use your treatment properly for the
specified duration, your acne will clear up, but
you need to maintain proper skin care to make it
stay away.
You may have to use your treatment for an
extended period, but after your acne is gone, you
can use the treatment less frequently.
You can stop the production of hormones
indefinitely, but after using your anti-DHT
treatment, you can use the solution less
vigorously and not worry about severe outbreaks.

More Than Acne?
If your acne persists even through the treatment,
then you may have other more serious skin
conditions.
Prolonged acne that is resistant to medication
and treatment may indicate disorders like
diabetes or an endocrine disorder.
If your acne resist treatment, its important to
contact your doctor to see if your skin condition
is in fact a symptom of something else.
