  • New Reading Series Treasures by MacMillan/McGraw
    Hill
  • Spelling- test every week - graded
  • Language Arts practice every morning Tested on
    skills every Friday - graded
  • Grammar and Writing skills occasionally graded
  • Handwriting-S,N,U children need to practice
    neatness and spacing

Lunch
  • Lunch daily from 1100 1130
  • They have two choices that change daily, or they
    can choose a Peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
  • You are welcome to eat with your student any day.
    However, they are not allowed to have friends
    sit with you. This is considered family time.
    Thank you for understanding.

  • Please pay close attention to your childs
    teacher schedule!

Homework/Reading LogNewsletters
  • Daily homework please check off and/or initial
    their homework sheets as requested by your
    childs teacher
  • Teacher Newslettersimportant information has
    spelling and vocabulary words on back for review
    and practice - they will be posted on the
    Coulston Website

Reading and Homework
  • Read every night for 10 minutes listen to, read
    with, or read to your child every night!
  • Assist and go over their homework.
  • Parents, please help your child in these
    activities. Thank you!

Transportation Changes
  • For the safety of the children, transportation
    must be set in advance and stay consistent.
  • Please make sure you have completed a
    transportation form.
  • We understand there are emergenciesyou must
    contact the office in regards to an emergency.
  • We follow what is listed on emergency dismissal
    information sheets.

Birthday Parties
  • We welcome any one who would like to send in
    treat bags for your childs birthday. Please no
    snacks or drinks.
  • Please, do not send invitations to a party unless
    the entire class is receiving one.
