moderate dysplasia. During this infection
process the L1 capsid protein is produced
abundantly in order to fight against the HPV
virus infection. In a dormant or latent HPV
infection no L1 capsid protein is produced,
therefore no morphological changes of the
epithelial cells are present and all cells are
normal.   Why is Cytoactiv recommended

dysplasia. DNA tests only verify the HPV
infection, the Pap smear provides information on
morphological changes in the cells , but these
tests do not give an information about the future
