Deborah Alessi and her husband Dr. David Alessi
founded Face Forward to provide physical and
emotional reconstruction to children and women
who have been victims of gang related or physical
violence. All treatments provided by Face Forward
are pro bono and the non-profit organization, a
501(c)(3) is registered in the State of
California. Donations form a large part of the
expenditure incurred in treatments of the victims
as the treatment of average patient costs around
5,000.

• Deborah Alessi and Dr. David Alessi have played
  an instrumental role in supporting not-for-profit
  organizations that help people. With Face
  Forward, the couple is working with community
  leaders to help the victims of violence who carry
  the physical evidence of past abuse. With the
  efforts of Face Forward, individuals are able to
  overcome the stigma associated with domestic
  abuse and be a part of the society once again by
  actively contributing to various tasks.

• Deborah Alessi and Dr. David Alessi work to send
  forward a message of hope for people who have
  been disfigured by domestic abuse. The couple
  understands that facial disfigurement can
  severely impede the chances of a person finding a
  job, integrating with public and finding a way to
  put the past behind them. Through surgery, the
  victims of domestic abuse can find a new hope in
  life and a way to start anew. The team of skilled
  surgeons and specialists at Face Forward have
  impacted the lives of many with great results and
  helped them in finding their place in society.
