  • Born on April 12, 1887 in Brimingham, England
  • Immigrated to Canada when he was 18 years old
  • Became a veterinary surgeon
  • Also became an officer for the war
  • Continued his education in Canada to achieve his
    goals

Later Life
  • Got degree as a veterinary surgeon on April 25,
    1911
  • Retired from military on April 15, 1929
  • Retired on May 19, 1945
  • Past away on September 24, 1947 and was buried in
    Brookside cemetery
  • Dedicated life to animals

Conclusion
  • I chose Harry Colebourn for my Heritage Project
    because I really like Winnie the Pooh so I
    decided to choose the person who raised Winnie.
  • I learned a lot about Harry like about him
    raising Winnie the Pooh while he was in the war
    and him immigrating to Canada.
  • Harry Colebourn made a big impact on Canada by
    being in the war. He has been recommended for
    having the opportunity to be given services to
    his country.
