Logo Elements and Usage

• Contains 4 Distinct Elements
• Circle emblem
• Association name
• Small diamond
• Year mark statement Since 1907

• You may not
• Eliminate the thin rule at the top (interrupts
  the circle element)
• Redesign by putting extra words, phrases or
  numbers within, around, or attached to circle
• Translate the Association name or year mark into
  any other language except English
• Mix colors in printing the circle element
• Print logo in colors other than specified

Acceptable Colors

• Circle Element PMS Blue 549
• Diamond Element PMS Blue 549
• Lettering Black
• Note the Association logo may also be printed in
  black and may also be reversed (white on black or
  colored background) when appropriate

Letterhead Usage

• Individual Section and Chapter Letterhead
• Section or Chapter name should replace year mark
  and be printed in PMS 131 (gold)
• Chapter name must include the Section, for
  example
• Alamo Chapter
• Southwest Section

Acceptable Association References

• Air Waste Management Association
• Air Waste Management
• The Association (Association is capitalized)
• AWMA
• Never use AWMA in print or speech
• Use ampersand in place of and (except in legal
  documents)

• In legal documents, the correct name should be

• in accordance with the Association Articles of
  Incorporation
