information on the PhD programme at MBS - http//www.pgr.portals.mbs.ac.uk/
- There is a link to the research method course
units offered by MBS for the RTP. - IS students can find useful modules for their

Qualitative data Analysis Survey Design, etc). - ?Discuss this with your supervisor and then with
the Programme Directors.

whether to take 1 or 2 Elective modules.
"Advanced Corporate Finance module is taken by
Accounting students if this is agreed with the
supervisors.
10Research Training Programme (RTP)
- AccountingFinance students have to discuss the
structure of their programme with the
supervisors. - 2 Elective courses OR "Advanced Corporate
Finance module and 1 Elective course.
11Research Training Programme (RTP)Elective courses
- Think that at the end of your PhD you have to be
able to publish. - Elective course help to build your foundations,
your background. - Dont choose any elective module just to comply
to the RTP! - Most elective courses can be chosen from the MSc
modules. - Alternatively, you could think about a self-study
training useful for your research topic. - i.e. those without any knowledge in MATLAB may
attend a MATLAB course and write down a programme
useful for their papers. - This has to be coordinated with your supervisor.
