MATRIX PLOT

• Neo, a programmer for Meta-Cortex by day and
  master hacker by night, is contacted by
  Morpheuss agent, Trinity. The Oracle has told
  Morpheus that Neo is the one who can save the
  remnant of mankind from enslavement to the
  Artificial Intelligence that projects the Matrix.
• Morpheus enlightens Neo he learns that reality
  as he sees it (the world of the late 90s) is a
  program (MATRIX) fed to human brains so that they
  do not know their true plight.
• In actuality, human are batteries in pods that
  power AI. And it is 2199, not the 1990s. Humans
  lost an apocalyptic battle to AI in the 21st
  century.
