Homework Policy

• Homework will be given and must be completed
  every night.
• Vocabulary words and additional worksheets will
  be given Monday through Thursday.
• Booklog must be completed Monday through Friday.
  
• (2 books each night)
• If a student misses a homework assignment, you
  will be notified.

Behavior Policy

• Students should follow all classroom and school
  rules at all times.
• Students are expected to be respectful and polite
  to their teachers and friends.
• Behavior chart will be sent home everyday. You
  must initial each box.

Parent Expectations

• Read with your child every night.
• Make sure your child has a quiet place and time
  to complete homework.
• Sign behavior chart.
• Help your child become responsible by sticking to
  a schedule!

First Grade Standards

• Students must memorize 100 Word List.
• Students must know all the letter sounds and be
  able to sound out one syllable words.
• Students must understand addition and subtraction
  up to 12.
• Students should be able to write a few complete
  sentences on a topic.

• 1020 - 1115 - Writers Workshop
• 1115 - 1155 - Lunch
• 1200 - 1230 - Story Time/S.R.
• 1230 - 115 - Math
• 115 - 140 - Social Studies/Science
• 140 - 200 - IWT
• 200 - 210 - Pack-Up
• 210 - Dismissal
