Admission and Registration Process
  • 1. Apply for admission (Room 1502)
  • 2. Forward all high school/GED or college
    transcripts to Registrars office
  • 3. Provide ACT scores or take the placement exam
    in room 1109. (The exam is not pass/fail, it
    used to place studentsin the appropriate skill
    level)
  • Note Students that have attended previous
    colleges/universities need to consult with an
    college Advisor prior to taking the placement
    exam
  • 4. Attend New Student Orientation on the
    publicized days and times
  • 5. Meet with a college advisor for course and
    program selection
  • 6. Register for courses
  • 7. Visit the Business Office/Cashier window to
    solidify courses and receive official stamp on
    the schedule
  • 8. Visit the Security Office for student id
    picture and badge
  • Note All financial aid submissions must be
    completed BEFORE registration, if paying out of
    pocket payment is due at time of registration.
    Courses will not be secured if method of payment
    is not identified in the system

  • Tuition is 79.00 per credit hour
  • Full time students are required to be registered
    for 12 credit hours per semester
  • Full time students are eligible for the U-Pass,
    the unlimited CTA bus and train pass. Only good
    for the duration of the semester (visit room 1307
    for U-Pass)
  • If enrollment drops underneath full time the
    U-Pass will be shut off
  • Book Vouchers are available to students taking 6
    credit hours or more
  • Visit My.ccc.edu to access your student account,
    book vouchers are available via your account
    (assistance can be received in the Academic
    Support Center)
  • Student interested in student activities, clubs
    and organizations can visit the Student
    Development office in Rm. 1307
