RFI System

• The Request for Information (RFI) system is a
  web-based application which allows A-E firms,
  bidders and construction contractors to directly
  input their questions to a collaborative
  database.

RFI System Description

• Utilizes existing software
• Access through internet web browser
• Creates all request for information and responses
  in written form
• Provides for a common data base which is
  accessible to all authorized parties

• Time/date stamps all activities
• E-mail notification of all activities
• Provides centralized archive of all RFIs on the
  project
• Allows direct link to lessons learned system
• Allows contractual oversight by CT/CD/EN/PM

RFI System Status

• The construction contractor version of the RFI
  system has successfully completed its field test
  and is in the process of deployment
• The A-E version has been completed and will enter
  a short field test prior to deployment
• The Bidder, Shop Drawing and warranty versions
  are in the development stage
