  • The art of putting off something that needs to be
    done.
  • Postponing a task until a later date.

  • Procrastination has little if anything to do with
    laziness
  • In fact, most procrastinators busy themselves
    with many (unimportant) tasks in the process of
    avoiding bigger tasks

Strategies to conquer Procrastination.
  • Use the balance sheet approach..weigh the
    benefits of completing the task versus the
    effects of procrastinating.
  • Set reasonable goals.
  • Get started.
  • Break the task into smaller parts.
  • Ask for help with tasks and projects.
  • Dont expect perfection.

  • Know and use your peak productivity time. Do you
    know what yours is?
  • Studies show that for most people, the time when
    physical and mental energy is most likely to come
    together is 1030 am.

  • Say No Remind yourself of your goals.
  • Use your class time well
  • Start projects as soon as they are assigned.
  • Divide each task into small, manageable chunks.
  • Use small pockets of time well.

  • To control your life, you must control your time
    and have specific goals
  • If you dont control your time..it can lead to a
    lot of stress.
  • If youre going in the wrong direction, speeding
    up doesnt help.
