7Homework
- Homework assignments are an extension of
classroom instruction and should be challenging
and meaningful. Homework will be assigned
Monday-Thursday (rarely on Friday). Children are
asked to write their homework in their agendas.
Your child will bring this agenda home every day
to be signed by a responsible adult. Agendas are
a great way to maintain communication. - In addition to the assigned homework recorded in
the agenda, students are required to read 20
minutes every night. This should be recorded on
the reading log. This is a school wide policy. - Homework completion is recorded and is reflected
on the report card in work/study skills.
8Red Folder
- Signed papers go home every Thursday in the RED
communication folder. This packet of papers will
also include a weekly report. Please sign and
return the ENTIRE packet to school on Fridays. - At the beginning of each month, students will
receive a new Math Blaster and Reading Log.
These will be due at the beginning of each month. - 400 minutes of reading required for each month.
(Only 300 minutes is required for August.)
9Math Compacting
- A letter of explanation is included in the parent
