The plan

• Plant a dollar bill in a obvious place a observe
  what happens when it is picked up.
• This required finding a place where there were a
  lot of people
• and a way of placing a dollar where no one would
  see me drop it.

How I did it...

• Set up on a balcony
• place camera where it could record the event
• dropped dollar from above
• watched event from other side of camera in case
  someone picked it up from the other side (you'll
  see)
• record information on notepad

• What a surprise no one picked it up!
• BUT...
• it does prove that people will react differently
  when a real dollar is on the ground.

• I was discovered...damn
• the video missed it after I movved the camera but
  she looked up before picking up the dollar.

• From the limited data few conclusions can be drawn

My final thoughts...

• It can be assumed that almost no one will pick up
  a blank piece of paper on the ground
• but will always pick up a dollar bill
• and after talking to the young lady who took two
  of my dollars I learned that I was someone "being
  really stupid"
