Change and changes
  • My dad
  • Is sad,
  • Because he is very sick
  • And he doesnt eat.
  • My dad changes every time
  • On Monday, he is sick
  • On Tuesday, he is a comic
  • On Wednesday, he is nasty
  • On Friday, he is optimistic
  • On Saturday, he is pessimistic
  • And on Sunday, he is very nice.
  • I like when he is nice
  • And when he sympathises,
  • When he is nice
  • And not as cold as ice.

  • I wondered
  • Why did the blue sky become so stormy?
  • So I looked at nature and animals,
  • And I saw beautiful flowers without any petals.
  • The blooms were afraid,
  • The trees wanted to hide in glade.
  • I found this attitude queer
  • Because the forests usually quiet appear!
  • Even the wild animals didnt eat their food,
  • To run away in their woods! Then a proud wolf
    came to me,
  • And said its the humans faults if the sky is
    angry,
  • You pollute its world and it isnt happy!
  • So please go and repair your mistakes,
  • So that the world does not have any more aches!

  • Lifes changes
  • At the beginning, we are children
  • We are never in a hurry
  • Just go to school, play and learn
  • And live with our family.
  • Then we are adolescents
  • Our body and our mind grow
  • We quarrel with our parents
  • And look for a life to follow.
  • When we are ready
  • We go to university
  • To write a new story
  • And leave our family.
  • Then we become parents
  • We create a new family
  • We try to have children
  • And a job to earn money.
  • Then we become grandparents
  • We remember our past
  • We visit our little children
  • Before leaving for a trip, the last
  • Life changes as we change, until the end

SADNESS A need to live immensely, To sing, to f
ly, to laugh. But life is not intense anymore Be
cause people forget their memories.
Do you understand? I do not understand Why peopl
e still believe what they believe in.
That everything is like That only accidentally .
Dont you understand? I do not understand anymo
re this life With these too different people Whe
re people hide When they smile Simply to present
.
25
Is it true? Why suddenly everything changed? Bef
ore the night shined But the mirror of illusions
broke Because the truth had just burst out. Can
you fly? Now, I cannot fly away anymore As if my
wings were stuck. And nevertheless I want to go
Because too many things have changed.
Eugénie Forzat, 4e3, Collège Lucie Aubrac.

  • Delete that word,
  • Turn the page over.
  • Write that line
  • It doesnt rhyme.
  • Again, again, again
  • Try a new life.
  • But dont lose life is not a game! Its not a
    poem!
  • Or
  • I left everything for you my city, my family and
my friends to live with you. I didnt tell them
we were leaving. I left, thats all. We were
happy together but you have spoiled everything.
One year ago, you told me something. it hurt me.
This news broke my heart. You have ruined my life
    for her.

27
I was happy with you, you were happy with her.
I loved you, you loved her. I waited for you, you
waited for her You have disappointed me, you los
t me. Thats why, today, I breathe for the last t
ime. I breathe on our first dates scene. Its
good to remember but painful too. I deserve
better than you and youre guilty one.
Farewell, I will miss the good time with you but
what you did to me is unforgivable.
I loved you Dont forget it. But now Ive change
d I no longer love you.

Change and changes
  • Our planet is hot, its burning
  • If we do nothing to save it
  • It will die
  • Some countries do not accept
  • The Kyoto protocol. Why?
  • Nobody knows but our children will cry
  • With our chemicals were poisoning
  • The earth, the rivers and the seas.
  • Why would we let our animals die?
  • To stop Global warning
  • Lets begin recycling
  • Lets start biking
  • Lets abandon cars
  • Lets put polluters behind bars
  • Bits by bits
  • We must change our habits
  • To save our planet
  • The fight isnt over yet
  • Do not let it die
  • Or we can all say goodbye!

The change
  • Once upon a time, a war broke out in Rwanda a
    war which changed everybody.
  • The population moved to stay alive. In town,
there was a teenager with her Parents .
  • They changed home and went to live in a small
village. She changed her ways, she didnt see her
friends any longer, she stayed in her room
    secluded for Weeks and she
  • didnt speak to anybody. Not one activity except
to look after her One-year-old sister.
  • One night things changed for the worse.
  • Her first name was Akimana but it was changed
  • Her parents were killed.
  • She was adopted, today her name is Kelly and she
    is my friend.

Nights end
I close my eyes only for a moment and the
moments gone The sunlight disappearing behind a
flabby and dark hill Which jogged by tortuous bra
nches of tree. The free air is.
Achille Im realising why my peaceful life has
moved on. Suddenly, without even telling why, My
so called friends abandoned me.
You, stranger, see that all people change, see.
Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky.
I stayed alone all day long at school, reading
books just to forget everything,
Gagged by resentment and sadness, hidden behind
walls and people in dark rows Heaven was the scho
ol library and sitting on the ground I waiting
its opening. Tearful, I drew my lone heart on a p
erfect and white paper. There were shadows.
Mogglia Serena, 1L2, Lycée Pasteur

CHANGE AND CHANGES(free style-ish)
  • Stepping on board
  • The bags all packed
  • Never, never wanting to look back.
  • Abandoning the memories, hopes and pain
  • Looking forward, she wanted to change.
  • She thought she was ready
  • Felt it in her heart
  • She took the step forward
  • To a brand new start.
  • The people different, the places new
  • She searched for anything
  • But all was askew.
  • Help me! she cried, for she realized now
  • She wanted to change
  • But didnt know how.
  • On she went, never satisfied
  • Until one day she spotted an old monk praying.
  • She took a seat by his side,

40
She started to pray, when she began to cry.
The monk turned to look, With wisdom in his voic
e, he quietly said We search on the outside what
we want within, But its us we must change, bef
ore we begin. With tears on her face She looked
into his eyes. Knowing he was right She could n
o longer cry, So she smiled in thanks and turned
in good bye. Time moved on in a steady blur She
walked for weeks, Oblivious to the world. Fina
lly she reached the end, Shed found the door.
Cautiously she turned the key.
She took a step, and then the plunge.
She had let herself free.

  • Dawn
  • In this world, there were two soul mates who
    longed for
  • They didnt know each other anymore
  • The first character was called Adam
  • And the light of his life was nicknamed Sam
  • 12 oclock
  • By an incredible and sad coincidence
  • Which makes you think that love is a question of
    chance
  • They met each other on the occasion of a funeral
  • And they fall immediately in love during the
    burial

42
Dusk People say that their love story was impossi
ble How can a man love another? But they won th
is struggle And they loved each other forever Mo
ral Today we have to bear in mind this story And
remember that such love has never been easy
Unfortunately it has been so since time beyond
human memory We have to change ! People must evo
lve as soon as possible And stop being counter cl
ockwise. Listen to this advice ! And well keep
hoping such things are possible
Baguerey Leslie-Anne, Bertuzzi Justine et Marie ,
Lycée Follereau Belfort
43
Dust in the wind
I close my eyes only for a moment and the
moments gone. I exhale, talking to timeget off
of my back! But time is passing by, step by ste
p. Tic-tock, tic-tock. Past present and future.
It will last for a long time. You cant stop it,
you cant escape. Can you still hope?
No choice. A caterpillar shall become a
butterfly. No way out. You tears shall dry. Noth
ing lasts forever but the earth and sky.
44
All around you are Fate and Destiny.
And they wont warn you. Everything must change
you cant do anything to prevent that from
happening So resign yourself, accept it changes
will chase you forever. Like the nose which bloom
ed this morning and will fade tomorrow
Children shall be born, people shall die,
Their body shall be buried, shall decompose and
shall fly away Dust in the wind, all we are is du
st in the wind.
Feillens Clémence , Lycée Pasteur
45
Nothing less nothing more
I close my eyes only for a moment, and the
moments gone, Theres only more to opening them
again than meets the eye, Dont shut your eyes to
reality, accept, life carries on,
Time and tide wait for no man, not even for you
and I. Look at all those hastened passer-bys, sli
pping past one after another, What togetherness b
etween them! Perhaps the best ever,
Future is just past in preparation dont fiddle
around because time flies, Nothing lasts forever
but the earth and sky.
46
Times up. Here is an instant gone in a flash,
There are so many things which dont last,
Through your fairy fingers it does slip,
Like a snowflake in a fiery grip.
Last time is impossible to make up for,
We are just a little piece of heaven on earth,
just a little daisy in this melancholic spring,
Good moments dont last long, strange though it
may seem it is what everybodys waiting for,
Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind.
Marteau Guillaume, Lycée Pasteur
