• The following images were presented as part of a
  panel discussion by Dr. Amit N. Patel, Director
  of Cardiac Stem Cell Therapies at the McGowan
  Institute, University of Pittsburgh Medical
  Center, during the Transcatheter Cardiovascular
  Therapeutics (TCT) 2007 meeting.
• The images describe the unique structure of cell
  lines (cardiac, nerve, bone, fat and cartilage)
  that have been created in vitro by processing
  specialized menstrual endometrial stem cells.
• Clinical trials are underway to study these cells
  for repair of cardiac muscle tissue, pancreatic
  tissue and nerve tissue.
