• Beavers really change the environment, which

• Ecosystem The living and nonliving parts of an
  environment. Soil, water, and air are all
  nonliving parts of an ecosystem.
• Wetlands An ecosystem where land and fresh
  water meet such as swamps, marshes and bogs. The
  soil is water with trees, shrubs, and grasses
  growing in it.

• Different plants and animals adapt to the desert
  environment because of the adaptations that they
  have.

• Migration To travel to a warmer place where it
  can find food. Many types of birds and
  butterflies move to a warmer region during the
  winter time. This is an instinctive behavior
  which helps animals to survive.

• Hibernation A deep sleep that helps some
  animals survive the winter. During this state,
  an animal breathes slowly, has a slow heartbeat,
  and has a low body temperature in order to use
  less energy so that it can survive a long time
  without eating.

• Dormancy A decrease in plants activity that
  allows them to survive during the winter. During
  dormancy a plant lives off food that is stored
  elsewhere in the plant.
