8CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, evaluate and disseminate information and
intelligence - Track resources for incident, mutual aid,
maintain inventory of assets - Prepare status reports
- Develop the Incident Action Plan (IAP), and
- Keep all documentation, records, etc.
9SITUATION and PLANNING UNIT
- Understand the big picture.
- Conceptualize over the horizon
- Internalize IC/MGMT operational priorities
- Reliable connections in all functional areas
- Team player, communicator, literate.
10DAMAGE ASSESSMENT UNIT
- Univ. subject matter experts on damage
assessments. - Understands state and federal concepts,
policies and procedures and reports regarding
damage assessments - Coordinates Univ. damage assessment pgm
- Liaisons with local, state and federal officials
11RESOURCE and MUTUAL AID UNIT
- Records status of assets committed to incident
- Coordinates resource requests, incl mutual aid
- Coordinates integration of mutual aid assets into
incident operations - Coordinates demobilization of incident assets
- Anticipates and plans for resource needs.
12DOCUMENTATION UNIT
- Excellent record retention, recovery.
- Excellent word processing skills, document,
- report preparation.
- Understanding of ICS Forms, County, State
- and Federal forms, etc.
- Team player, communicator, literate.
