• There at Shiloh, Joshua cast sacred lots in the
  presence of the Lord to determine which tribe
  should have each section.
• After all the land was divided among the tribes,
  the Israelites gave a special piece of land to
  Joshua as his inheritance.

• For the Lord had said he could have any town he
  wanted. He chose Timnath-serah in the hill
  country of Ephraim. He rebuilt the town and
  lived there.

51 These are the territories that Eleazer the
priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the tribal leaders
gave as an inheritance to the tribes of Israel by
casting sacred lots in the presence of the Lord
at the entrance of the Tabernacle at Shiloh. So
the division of the land was completed

• Soon after this, Joshua son of Nun, the servant
  of the Lord, died at the age of 110.
• They buried him in the land he had inherited, at
  Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim,
  north of Mount Gaash.

Firstly, THE LORD HAS GIVEN US A SPECIAL PIECE OF
LAND.

• After all the land was divided among the tribes
  . . . at the right time
• Joshua chose . . . of our own choosing as
  a reward
• Timnath-serah our allotted extension
• In the hill country of Ephraim elevated and
  fertile

Secondly, THE LORD HAS GIVEN YOU A SPECIAL PIECE
OF LAND.

• After all the land was divided among the tribes,
  . . . at the right time
• Joshua chose . . . of your own choosing as a
  reward
• Timnath-serah your allotted extension
• In the hill country of Ephraim elevated and
  fertile

Thirdly, YOU WILL NEED TO REBUILD AND RESIDE ON A
SPECIAL PIECE OF LAND.
Joshua 1950c (NLT) reads, He rebuilt the town
and lived there.

AND RESIDING.

• It has been preoccupied before you.
• It has been promised to you.
• It has been permanently assigned for you.

Fourthly, YOU GOT IT AT SHILOH!
Joshua 1951a (NLT) describes the distribution
center in the Promised Land,
These are the territories that Eleazar the
priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the tribal leaders

Let me share with you the significance of SHILOH.

• SHILOH is a place of priority.
• SHILOH is a place of peace.
• SHILOH is a place of prosperity.
• SHILOH is a place of purpose.
• SHILOH is a place of portal.
• SHILOH is a place of Presence.

Fifthly, THE DEAL HAS BEEN SEALED ON A SPECIAL
PIECE OF LAND.
Joshua 1951b (NLT) concludes, So the
division of the
land was completed.

THE DEAL HAS BEEN SEALED ON ANOTHER SPECIAL PIECE
OF LAND.
THE FATHER GAVE HIS SON JESUS A SPECIAL PIECE OF
LAND nearly 2000 years ago.
However, JESUS DID NOT NEED TO REBUILD AND RESIDE
ON THAT SPECIAL PIECE OF LAND because IT WAS NOT
PERMANENTLY ASSIGNED TO HIM.
JESUS GOT IT AT CALVARY!
And, now, THE DEAL HAS BEEN SEALED FOR OUR
SALVATION ONCE AND FOR ALL!
