What is Communication?

• Communication is the exchange of ideas,
  opinions or facts between senders and receivers.
  It requires that a sender
• ( an individual or group) compose and transmit
  a message and that a receiver decode and
  understand the message.
• (Bernstein,1993)
• Senders and receivers are partners.

• Involve Parents in important decisions and policy
  making.
• Organise Activities which encourage discussions.
• Organise Social Activities- teachers and parents.

• School Admin. To be readily available For parents
  to discuss.
• Parents to adhere to Admin. Regulations and
  procedures to make appointments.
