What is a sustainable and globally aware citizen?
  • Someone who is aware of the wide world and has a
    sense of their own role as a world citizen
  • They are outraged by social injustice
  • Someone who respects and values diversity
  • They actively participate in and contribute to
    the community at a range of levels from local to
    global
  • They take responsibility for their actions.
  • They have experience of the natural world
    including practical projects and real world
    issues.

What is ESDGC ?
  • the links between society, economy and
    environment and between our own lives and those
    of people throughout the world
  • the needs and rights of both present and future
    generations
  • the relationships between power, resources and
    human rights
  • the local and global implications of everything
    we do and the actions that individuals and
