Benefits
  • The ENERGY STAR qualified fixtures can reduce
    their electricity consumption and costs by about
    66 percent compared to a standard fixture
  • Saving with SSL technology will be even greater
  • The purchase cost of ENERGY STAR qualified light
    fixtures varies. Some fixtures are available at
    equal pricing to non-qualified fixtures, while
    others may cost about 10 more.
  • However, fixtures come with a second price tag
    the cost of energy to operate them.
  • Distribute light more efficiently and evenly than
    standard fixtures.

  • No changes in performance requirements
  • Added requirements specific to GU-24 based
