Ford Motor Company - Apprentice
Administration System       Ford wanted a
completely web enabled, integrated application
that would track the entire process of any Ford
employee, at any Ford plant, going from an
apprentice to a Journeyman. The Ford
Apprenticeship  Tracking  Project is  a 
web-enabled  application that interfaces with
Fords LDAP security system. It has been
designed and built for the specific tracking
process in which Ford  utilizes in tracking
every Ford apprentice, nation-wide through their
four year  apprentice training program, which
upon completion allows a Ford apprentice to
become a Ford Journeyman. Currently there are
three modules to the application - Waitlist
Administration - Active Apprentice
Administration - Archived Records The
application was built with Java, ASP, Java
Servlets, HTML and will interface with the LDAP
Ford security systems and the data will be
housed in a Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 database.

  customers interface- This system enables
  callers to enroll, cancel, and listen to the
  training program- The System boxed the
  confirmation letter of the callers activity to
  the fax provided at the time- The System bills
  to the appropriate department- The System
  scrutinized the class eligibility and
  pre-requisite eligibility and several other
  functionalities.
