Day Procession and Presidential PanelFriday, May
4, 2007, 10 a.m. Downtown San José Around 1,000
SJSU faculty, staff, students, alumna and guests
in academic regalia will join this re-creation of
the Founders Week 1957 procession through
downtown San José. The parade will end at SJSUs
Morris Dailey Auditorium, where President Kassing
will convene a panel of national experts to
discuss the status of higher education. On the
same day, SJSU alumni throughout the Bay Area
will wear SJSUs blue and gold colors,
highlighting the contributions of the thousands
of San José State graduates living and working
here.
