Mr. Foscolo in Ancient Rome!

• Mr. Foscolo, as he does time to time, traveled
  back in time to Ancient Rome, where he hangs out
  with several important Roman Senators and aides
  to the Emperor himself.

During this trip, Mr. Foscolo and other aides
were meeting with the Emperor Constantine, and
were enjoying some lunch. Which consisted of a
large piece of Roman Triangle cake, that was
delicious.

• Suddenly, the Roman messenger boy rushed in!

• He tells everyone about Kaplanius, an influential
  rebel in a newly conquered Roman land. Kaplanius
  is planning an uprising against Rome!

Constantine ordered that SOMETHING had to be done
to stop Kaplanius and his attempt to revolt
against Rome! He shortly thereafter decided that
the people of Rome need to get more in touch with
Roman history and culture, so then they would
want to continue it and not side with Kaplanius.
He ordered Mr. Foscolo to complete this task

• After much discussion with high ranking generals
  in the Roman army, Mr. Foscolo determined the
  best way to get the Roman people in touch with
  Roman History and culture..
• TO USE HIS 6TH GRADERS TO MAKE PAMPHLETS ON THE
  GREATNESS OF ROME!!!!!!!!

YOUR MISSION!!!!

• HELP OUT MR. FOSCOLO!!! The class will be divided
  into several groups and each group will have four
  members. Each member of that group is to report
  on a different aspect of Roman life. The first
  person is to report on Roman History, including
  its founding and its emperors. The second person
  is to report on Roman architectural feats. The
  third person is to report on the great natural
  beauty of the Roman empire. Finally the last
  person will report on ways in which Romans stay
  entertained during their daily lives. Each group
  will take these four reports and put them
  together into a pamphlet to be distributed
  throughout the empire.
