What is a Carer?

What is a Young Carer....?

• Young carers are children and young people under
  the age of 18 years who provide care to another
  immediate family member, parent, elderly grand
  parent, a brother or a sister or a relative,
  friend or neighbour, who could not manage to stay
  in their in their own home without their help.
  This could be due to age, physical or mental
  illness, addiction or disability
