  Muslims.
• Mongols were nomadic people from the north of
  china.
• The leader is Genghis Khan.

• Many Muslims were carried to Mongolia as slaves.

• Defeated the Turks and seized parts of Persia.
• 1258 Destroyed Baghdad.

• Muslims stop Mongol invasion in west, led by the
  mamluks.
• 1260 Mamluks defeated Mongols in Palestine to
  over through the Salah-Al-Din dynasty.
• Mamluks ruled Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Anatolia-
  in 1517.
