Psalm 1.1-3

• 1 Blessed is the man        who does not walk
  in the counsel of the wicked        or stand in
  the way of sinners        or sit in the seat of
  mockers.  
• 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
         and on his law he meditates day and
  night.
• 3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
         which yields its fruit in season       
  and whose leaf does not wither.        Whatever
  he does prospers.

Psalm 1.4-6

• 4 Not so the wicked!        They are like chaff
         that the wind blows away.
• 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the
  judgment,        nor sinners in the assembly of
  the righteous.
•  6 For the LORD watches over the way of the
  righteous,        but the way of the wicked
  will perish.

2 Corinthians 3.5-8

• 5Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim
  anything for ourselves, but our competence comes
  from God. 6He has made us competent as ministers
  of a new covenantnot of the letter but of the
  Spirit for the letter kills, but the Spirit
  gives life.
•  7Now if the ministry that brought death, which
  was engraved in letters on stone, came with
  glory, so that the Israelites could not look
  steadily at the face of Moses because of its
  glory, fading though it was, 8will not the
  ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?

  to God

• Christians need to be active and alert!
• Need to understand that the enemy of our souls is
  around take the armor of God!

• Need to hang with the right people, not those
  in the counsel of the wicked

Psalm 1

• The Law of the Lord in the New Covenant, its
  written on the heart. It gives life (II Cor
  36b).
• To meditate to muse, delight, utter, speak,
  study, think upon, reflect upon
• Trees planted you want to honor the word of
  the law before anything else and it yields
  fruit (in season dont feel under condemnation
  as seasons change)
