BAMCIS

• The 5 paragraph order is part of a larger process
  known as the 6 troop leading steps, or BAMCIS.
• Begin Planning, Arrange Reconnaissance, Make
  Reconnaissance, Complete the Plan, Issue the
  Order, and Supervise.

Issuing the Order

• Only after completing the first three steps can
  you properly issue the order.
• The order is broken into 5 parts, using the
  acronym SMEAC
• Situation, Mission, Execution, Admin and
  Logistics, Command and Signal

• -You are currently the first squad leader in SULE
  II and the instructor gives you the following
  Frag O (Fragmentation order) Keep in mind, a
  frag O is only paragraphs 2,3, and your signal
  plan.

• You are S/E (supporting effort) 1. O/O (on
  order) ATD (attack to destroy) the en. (enemy)
  IVO 124457 and nuet (neutralize) en squad IOT (in
  order to) allow the M/E (main effort) to secure
  the obj. (objective)
• III) Execution
• Commanders Intent
• The enemys COG (center of gravity) is his
  prepped def. Pos. His CV (critical vulnerability)
  is his small size and vulnerability. I plan to
  exploit this CV by using our superior firepower
  to overwhelm him before he is able to reinforce
  his pos. My ES (end state) is for en. Forces to
  be nuet. IOT for the platoon to continue its
  advance.

  we will consolidate into a hasty 180, orienting
