Who built this and when??
  • Asimo is a product of the combined efforts of
    engineers working for the company Honda.
  • The first Asimo was built in 1986 and has been
    modified in time.
  • The latest of these robots was designed in 2005.

What it does and where it was built
  • It does things that humans either cant do or are
    just too lazy to do!
  • It can turn on light switches, open doors, carry
    objects and even do hazardous work.
  • It was designed and built in Japan, which is home
    to its company, Honda.

Sweet! But why was it built..?
  • The Asimo was built to assist humans in their
    daily lives.
  • It is very useful for work that is too hard for
    humans.
  • They were also to built to work in factories,
    doing jobs like assembling cars and much more.

  • If you are a millionaire, then you could own one.
  • The average price of a standard Asimo robot is an
    estimated 1 million.

Finally, how does it work?
  • Asimo can be controlled in four different ways
  • PC, Wireless controller, Gestures, or voice
    commands.
  • It is powered by a rechargeable 51.8 volt battery
    stored in its backpack.
  • It takes 3 hours to charge this battery.
