Deceased Donation - in India
MOHAN FOUNDATION

• In past thirteen years approx. 1400 deceased
  donor transplants (mostly kidneys) have been
  performed
• Only half a dozen undertake deceased donor
  transplants regularly
• Over 80 of the deceased donor transplants are
  done in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh
• In the last 6-7 months AP and TN have had 40
  deceased donors all time high

Approx.200 centres in India have expertise to
undertake kidney transplants
