Mysterious stories I
  • Romulus and Remus
  • According to the roman mythology, the
    founders
  • of Rome were Romulus and Remus. They were
  • twin-brothers, sons of priestess Rhea
    Silvia and
  • god Mars. They were unwanted because
Amulius was fearing that the boys would grow up
to overthrow him, so he had thrown them into the
River Tibet. They were found by a she-wolf, who
instead of killing them, looked after them and
fed them with her milk. A woodpecker brought them
food as well. Romulus and Remus were then
    discovered by Faustulus, a
shepherd, who brought the children to his home.

11
Mysterious stories I
  • They raised the boys as their own. Upon
    reaching
  • adulthood, Romulus and Remus killed Amulius
    and Romulus
  • began to build walls of their own town on
    the Palatine Hill,
  • where were they found by the she-wolf.
    Remus jeered at the
  • walls because they were so low. Romulus in
    anger killed him.
  • He named the new city Roma after his own
    name.

Mysterious stories II
  • Vlad Tepes Dracula
  • Vlad was born in Transylvania. When he was
a child he malterated mice and rats. When he
    died,
  • he was only 45. He wanted to establish
order in Wallachia. His whole family was killed.
His enemy was Osman Empire. A story says that
when two ministers of Sultan came to visit him,
he ask them to take off their turbans. They could
not do it according to theit faith, so he nailed
the turbans to ministers heads. Other story says
that he enjoyed feasing in a forest of stakes
while a nearby executioner cuts victims. The
number of his victims range between 40.000 to
100.000. His favourite method of torture was
impaling on stakes. That is the reason why he is
    also called Vlad the Impaler.
