Lab Assignments

• Students must look up a website to find out
  information on rocks.
• Websites being used
• http//www.suelebeau.com/
• Students review the following vocabulary rock,
  minerals and attributes
• ActivityStudents will review how the environment
  can change a rock over time. We will discuss the
  different attributes of a rock and their physical
  characteristics. Students will go on the internet
  and do a web quest on rocks.
• Students will then make a kidspiration web about
  the 3 types of rocks ( igneous, metamorphic and
  sedimentary). Students will save their own work
  on their own home drive.
• Early finishers can go to Acworth website or play
  programs on the launcher.
