• Jesus faced opposition from many who tried to
  prevent Him from His mission
• Many groups sought to discredit him
• THEY TRIED BUT THEY COULD NOT DO IT!

Plot Against Him

• Matthew 2145-46 - 41They said to Him, He will
  destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his
  vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to
  him the fruits in their seasons. 42Jesus said to
  them, Have you never read in the Scriptures
  The stone which the builders rejected Has become
  the chief cornerstone. This was the Lords doing,
  And it is marvelous in our eyes?

Plot Against Him

• Matthew 2215 - Then the Pharisees went and
  plotted how they might entangle Him in His talk.
• Matthew 2234 - But when the Pharisees heard that
  He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered
  together.
• Matthew 2235-36 - Then one of them, a lawyer,
  asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying,
  36Teacher, which is the great commandment in the
  law?

• Matthew 2242 What do you think about the
  Christ? Whose Son is He? They said to Him, The
  Son of David.
• Matthew 2246 - And no one was able to answer Him
  a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare
  question Him anymore.

  against it.

  God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall
  never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be
  left to other people it shall break in pieces
  and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall
  stand forever.
