Fall Timeline

• Focus Research and Applications
• In-depth research of top schools

• Review with Postsecondary Advisor (PSA)
• Submit 3-5 college applications by December 1st
• Request fee waivers or KSI pays up to 3 fees
• Monthly ISP meetings with PSA
• Final ACT testing for college admissions
• Submit four merit-based scholarships by December
  1st

• Focus Financial Aid and Matriculation
• All-Class Parent/Scholar Meeting
• ISP Meetings with PSA
• Attend FAFSA Frenzy
• Complete required financial aid documents
• Letter of Intent meetings begin February 2016
• Sign up for housing and summer orientation
• Submit four merit-based scholarships by April 1st
  
• Prepare for Summer Bridge Experience

Financial Aid Process

• File taxes early
• February 28th FAFSA Frenzy
• March 1st FAFSA completion deadline

  workshops, and the All-Class meeting

• Four completed applications due each semester
• December 1st
• April 1st
• Must demonstrate merit
• HS transcript
• Letter of recommendation
• Essay with word count no less than 500
• Creative work
• Scholar must meet eligibility requirements
• List of approved scholarships provided
