  • Math notebook
  • Math folder
  • Pencil
  • Colored pen
  • Calculator (TI-30XIIS or TI-30XIIB)

Grading
  • Math grades will be based on the following types
    of activities
  • Homework
  • Class work Projects
  • Quizzes Tests

Grading Scale
  • A 90 100
  • B 80 89
  • C 70 79
  • D 60 69
  • F 59 ?

Extra Credit
  • Extra Credit opportunities will be offered at
    various times throughout each quarter.
  • Take advantage of these opportunities when they
    occur you never know if you will have another
    chance to earn extra points!!!

Corrections
  • Any assignment with a grade below a C will be
    given a NOT YET. These assignments must be
    corrected.

Absences
  • If you know you will be missing class, tell me as
    soon as possible. The sooner you get your
    make-up work, the better!
  • After an absence, collect your work from the
    appropriate bin in the back of the room.
  • You have 1 day for every day absent to turn in
    your work before it is counted late.

Late Assignments
  • Late work will be deducted by 10 each day it is
    late, up to 50 off.
  • Late work can be turned in at any time throughout
    each quarter.
  • Work can not be completed for previous quarters.
  • Certain assignments may not be able to be turned
    in late!

ZAP!
  • A ZAP form must be filled out for every missing
    assignment. It will be taken home to be signed
    by a parent or guardian.
  • ZAP forms must be turned in the next day with the
    completed assignments.
  • If a ZAP form is not turned in the next day with
    the completed assignment,
  • the student will call home to report
  • the missing work.
