Educational Requirements

• English Degree Need to be able to use the correct
  punctuation and grammar.
• Only need a four year degree.

• Iowa State University.
• A few other schools around the country.

Daily work

• Look over other Captioners work
• Type out what shows are saying.
• Start at 600 a.m. and end around 1100 p.m.

• Beginner
• Most start out at a base Salary
• Around 30,000

• Veteran
• Every year you make more depending on your
  performance.
• Around 75,000

Misc

• Do not need to know sign language but every
  little bit helps.
• No Special licenses needed but can take other
  voluntary classes to make yourself better.
