  • Married with 2 children and 1 adorable dog!
  • Taught 8th grade, 7th grade, and was a parent
    of middle school students who grew up gasp!

AC Language Arts (faster pace/deeper) Standards
Focus
  • W1 Write arguments to support claims with clear
    reasons and relevant evidence.
  • W2 Write informative/explanatory texts to
    examine a topic and convey ideas, concepts, and
    information
  • W3 Write narratives to develop real or imagined
    experiences or events using effective techniques,
    relevant details, and well-structured event

Our Daily Routine
  • We strive to arrive ON TIME PREPARED with a
    binder, textbook, pen/pencil AGENDA.
  • Students must check the whiteboard for HW write
    in their agendas.
  • They can then begin WARM-UP which will be
    projected on the SmartBoard.
  • Should a student finish before everyone else,
    they must always be prepared to D.E.A.R. (drop
    everything and read) until we begin class.

    comprehension and to think critically.
