4th Nine Weeks Project

• A Beautiful Mind Essay
• Students will pick one of the following mentioned
  in the movie A Beautiful Mind
• A mathematical concept, OR
• a famous place in mathematical history, OR
• a famous person in mathematical history, EXCEPT
  JOHN NASH
• Students will research the topic chosen and type
  a five paragraph essay (at most 1 typed page
  long).
• Students must use at least 2 properly cited
  sources.

• Five paragraph essay must
• be 1 typed page long (5 points)
• have an introductory paragraph (5 points)
• have 2 explanatory paragraphs (10 points)
• have a reflective paragraph (that incorporates
  the movie) (5 points)
• have a concluding paragraph (that includes
  personal comments) (5 points)
• have no grammatical or spelling errors (5
  points)
• be creatively written (5 points)
• have at least 2 properly cited sources on a
  separate page (10 points)
