Vocabulary
  1. stimulus- anything that effects the activity of
    an organism, organ or tissue.
  2. Response- a reaction to a stimulus
  3. Metabolism- how an organism uses fuel the
    chemical activities that go on in an organism.
  4. Asexual reproduction- a single parent produces
    offspring that are genetically identical to the
    parent.

  • Sexual reproduction- two parents are required to
    produce offspring that will share characteristics
    of both parents.
  • homeostasis- the maintenance of a stable internal
    environment.

    to simple substances that the body can use.
